The Basics

If the stove does not ignight please see signage above the range to reset the outlet.

The front door requires the house key to lock the door from the inside.

Please do not use the deadbolt.

Homes in the area are required to be built with special wood in order to be up to "Tsunami Building Standards." Some people are sensitive to the smell of this wood (especially when the temperatures are warm).  

The house has a whole-house fan and air purifier to help mitigate the smell. For these devices to work most efficiently, the windows need to be closed so that the air can be purified.  You are, of course, welcome to open the windows, just know that this will magnify the smell (if any) of the wood

There are noise monitoring devices throughout the rental space.  Please note that this does not pick up words but just the volume of noise.  To help everyone have an enjoyable stay, please be conscientious of your neighbors and abide by quiet hours.

Please do not unplug or turn off devices.  The whole house fan and air purifier must remain on and plugged in.  Several other devices in the home affect other units on the property, such as internet, Direct TV, etc.

We provide a washer and dryer for your added comfort. To access these facilities, use the stairs near the kitchen.  The laundry is at the bottom of the stairs.

Our house cleaner uses these washers and dryers between stays.  Because some guests arrive the same day that others depart, there may be a load of laundry that is still drying.  Thank you for your understanding.

There are security camera(s) in exterior areas of the home.  Rest assured there are no cameras inside the home.

There are garbage and recycling bins on the property.  Garbage is picked up weekly on Monday mornings.  All trash needs to fit in the bin; excess trash is the responsibility of the guest to remove and dispose of.  Please no plastic bags in the recycle bin.

The bedrooms are equipped with Smart TVs.  Login to your favorite steaming channels with your account info, don't forget to log out before you leave.

The living room TV is a smart TV.  Use the black Samsung remote to power the TV on.  Control the sound using the sound bar.

The firepit on the roof has a propane tank.  To us, please open the pannel on the side closest to the house. Turn on the propane and ignite using the start button.  Our cleaner checks the propane between stays to ensure they are not empty.  If you exhaust the propane during your stay, you can trade the tank in at the local markets to get a new full tank.
